This snare has a Cam Lock and is sold in packs of 12. The price is $5.92 for each snare x 12.
Paul used this set up for wolves and coyotes during the 2019/20 fur harvesting season. He did not have any chew outs which is a testament to the efficiency of the new Supermagnum Kill Spring as it humanely dispatch wolves before they can work and chew the cable. This year you can order the snares with a Cam Lock or Marty Senneker’s new Shock Lock. These new Shock Locks have been stress tested for toughness in the shop and in my tests the cable broke before the lock failed.
This snare is made with 6 feet of 5/64 1 X 19 excellent quality snare wire, 5/64 double ferrule, 5/64 snare support collar, 5/64 Cam Lock, 645 lb Breakaway Device, Supermagnum Kill Spring, #2 Trigger, and 2 5/64 single ferrules.
Please note, a setting tool is required to set the trigger; this cannot be done without the setting tool.
